Cooking at Cheima's

Cheima is the legendary cook who makes lunch for Diego, Rita, clinic volunteers, and any hungry stragglers. Cheima's lunches are incredible - the best arroz/habichuela/cooked veg Dominican lunch I've had. Cheima is 74 (!) Although she seemed a little mystified as to why I would want to help cook lunch when someone else would do it for me, she let me come early one day for a cooking lesson.
